Bestari Literasi Indonesia (BLI) merupakan suatu komunitas yang diisi oleh para guru (Guru Bestari), mahasiswa (Kampus Bestari), dan pelajar (Pelajar Bestari) yang tersebar di seluruh Indonesia; Komunitas yang bertekad untuk membentuk inti yang dinamis, membawa semangat segar, dan ide-ide inovatif ke dalam dunia literasi dan pendidikan; Komunitas yang tidak hanya melihat perannya sebagai profesi/status, tetapi sebagai panggilan untuk menciptakan perubahan positif dalam kehidupan masyarakat; Komunitas yang sadar bahwa gerakan literasi bersifat partisipatif yang melibatkan seluruh lapisan masyarakat, terutama bagi guru, mahasiswa, dan pelajar.
